Advantages of Dry Ice Blasting
Dry Ice Blasting uses compressed air to propel particles of dry ice at contaminated surfaces, it provides many advantages over traditional cleaning methods.
Cleaning with dry ice removes even the smallest levels of contamination to leave all surfaces thoroughly clean. Dry Ice Blasting is safe on glass, plastics, rubber and fabrics.
Dry Ice Blasting does not use solvents or other chemicals which can be harmful to the environment or the item being cleaned.
Dry Ice Blasting does not use any liquids. The dry ice pellets sublimate straight from a solid to a gas so there is no liquid to enter sensitive electrical components, motors or control gear.
The dry ice blasting process does not introduce any contaminates such as grit, abrasive compound or solvents. So there is no danger of future damage to components from grit in castings, bearings, gears etc.
The dry ice pellets used are food safe.
Dry Ice Innovations can provide a full service for vehicles or smaller items at our Meriden base or we can offer a mobile service for fixed installations or where clients may have their own ramps.
Items can be cleaning in situ so there is no need for disassembly prior to cleaning. The process is also fast and efficient when compared to other methods.

My Lotus is well looked after but it's very hard to get to some areas as the engine bay is so tight. Dry Ice Innovations were able to remove dirt from areas which can be seen but cant be accessed. I'm really pleased with the results.
